NHTSA Complaint #11662146 — 2017 FORD F-150

The contact owns a 2017 Ford F-150. The contact stated that after entering the vehicle and attempting to close the door, several attempts were needed before the latch secured the door closed. There was no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to Customer Satisfaction Program: 18N03. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was unknown.
