Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2014 Ford Transit Connect. The contact stated that upon placing the vehicle in reverse, the rear-view camera display occasionally went blank, and on other occasions, the displayed image was reversed. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where it was diagnosed, and the contact was informed that the camera was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 100,000.
