NHTSA Complaint #11652600 — 2019 HONDA PASSPORT

[XXX] Start/Stop system failed when stopped in Starbucks drive thru. Unable to restart, or move vehicle. Honda Passport had to be towed. Problem has not been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer. Honda dealership deep charged battery and battery tested good? I was charged a Diagnostic fee for Starting & Charging Systems & Battery. Test name was GR8 diagnostic test by Honda. Vehicle was inspected by local Honda dealer. Diagnosed parasitic drain on battery? A new battery had been purchased 9/16/2024 @ a Honda dealership in Va. New battery is just 6 months old. Never had a problem with the new battery or Start/Stop system until [XXX] when failure occurred. There was never a warning lamp, message, or other symptoms prior to the failure.
