NHTSA Complaint #11652520 — 2017 FORD F-350

The contact owns a 2017 Ford F-350. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the vehicle lost motive power. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was towed to a local independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed that the fuel system needed to be replaced. An unknown local dealer was contacted. The contact related the failure to an unidentified NHTSA Campaign number; however, the VIN was not included. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 180,000.
