NHTSA Complaint #11643989 — 2017 FORD F-350

The contact owns a 2017 Ford F-350. The contact stated while driving at approximately 35 MPH, DTC: P203B was displayed on the instrument panel. The contact stated that the code was constantly illuminated and was illuminated when the vehicle was started. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer who diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the reductant tank sensor had failed and needed to be replaced. The dealer advised the contact that there had been a manufacturer recall for the failure, but the VIN was not included. The contact was not provided the manufacturer recall number by the dealer. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 96,000.
