Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2010 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that while her daughter was driving at an undisclosed speed, the brake pedal was depressed and went to the floorboard. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who replaced the ABS hydraulic control unit. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V904000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised the contact to file a complaint with the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was 106,699.
