Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that while driving on the highway at 65 MPH, the transmission independently shifted into neutral. The contact coasted the vehicle to a stop on the side of the highway, restarted the vehicle, and continued driving normally. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer to be diagnosed; however, the contact was informed that no cause for the failure was found. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 145,000.
