Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2017 Ford F-150. The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle, there was an abnormal knocking and rattling sound coming from the vehicle. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was determined that the cam phasers needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and opened a case. The approximate failure mileage was 81,000.
