NHTSA Complaint #11634611 — 2019 HYUNDAI ACCENT

The contact owns a 2019 Hyundai Accent. The contact stated while driving at undisclosed speeds, the vehicle lost automotive power and shuddered. The check engine warning light illuminated. The contact stated that a Police Officer arrived on the scene and was able to push the vehicle off the roadway. The vehicle failed to restart and was towed to a local dealer to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the ignition coils and spark plugs failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 54,000.
