The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the contact became aware that the tire pressure was low. Additionally, the check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the battery needed to be replaced, and the brake pedal needed to be cleaned. The battery was replaced, and the brake pedal was cleaned. The vehicle was driven back to the dealer where it was diagnosed, and the failure was linked to the brake pads and rotors. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but offered no assistance. The contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The approximate failure mileage was 8,065.
