Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2019 GMC Terrain. The contact stated that while in reverse(R), the back-up camera failed to operate as needed with the display screen displaying a blue image. The "Service Rear Vision System" message was displayed on the instrument panel. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer was notified about the failure. Upon further investigation, the contact related the failure to Technical Service Bulletin: 19-NA-076. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 88,000.
