NHTSA Complaint #11628941 — 2024 CHEVROLET SILVERADO EV

The rear passenger door sensors are not working on my vehicle as delivered from the factory/dealer. Upon opening the rear doors, there is no indication on the instrument panel/dome illumination as is present for the front passenger doors. With 4 independent doors it would appear to be a possible safety concern as the rear doors could unknowingly be open while driving. This issue has been discussed by several Silverado EV WT owners at the forum (linked below) and at least one dealer has diagnosed the issue as a missing ground wire on the door latch/sensor as documented in the service write up attached that was shared via the forum.
