Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2015 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the oil pan was leaking. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was determined that the oil pan needed to be resealed. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was contacted, and informed the contact that there was no recall or warranty coverage on the vehicle for the repair. The contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 3,472.
