Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2014 Audi Q7. The contact stated that while inside or outside the vehicle, there was an abnormally strong gasoline odor detected. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact called the local dealer and was informed that the vehicle was previously repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 17V298000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the failure recurred and there was no warranty coverage. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000.
