Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2016 Ford Escape. The contact stated that while attempting to reverse, the back-over prevention camera failed to operate as designed and displayed a blank image on the screen. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic but was not diagnosed. The vehicle was repaired with the passenger’s side door being replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 118,000.
