NHTSA Complaint #11622984 — 2018 FORD F-150

The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the vehicle was making an abnormal engine rattle sound during deceleration. Additionally, the contact stated that the vehicle made an abnormal chirping sound while idling warm or hot. The dealer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the vehicle was not covered under TSB Numbers: 18-2354 and 19-2140. The failure mileage was approximately 110,000.
