Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2013 Ford Focus. The contact stated that upon shifting the vehicle into reverse, the vehicle had no motive power. The transmission warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who diagnosed a failure with the transmission solenoids. The contact was informed that the transmission needed to be replaced. The contact stated that the transmission had previously been replaced in June of 2023 at 114,000 miles. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was 147,000. The VIN was not available.
