Consumer Description

I was in the middle of nowhere in Oklahoma on the freeway and my entire dashboard lights went out. It went black. I did not know what that meant and was scared to death that my car was just going to stop running on the freeway! I have read online that many many other people are experiencing this problem. After they recalibrated my system for the last recall this all started happening. A warning comes up saying charging system service now and the battery light flickers on for a minute and then it goes away. When it happened on the freeway at night all of the lights on my dash just totally went black. It needs to be addressed and fixed. Ford has no idea what it is and wants to charge us all kinds of money to try to figure it out. I just saw jeeps and rams were recalled for a similar issue. Why aren’t the fords being recalled??
