The contact owns a 2017 GMC Acadia. The contact stated that after parking the vehicle and shifting to park(P), the vehicle failed to shut off when the START/STOP button was pressed. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The manufacturer and local dealer were contacted regarding the failure, but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 36,000.
