Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2021 Ford Bronco Sport. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the passenger’s side rear wheel made a loud growling sound and lost traction. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, however; the vehicle was not diagnosed. The dealer informed the contact that the failure was a known issue; however, there was no recall for the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but confirmed there were no recalls on the VIN. The contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 22,000.
