NHTSA Complaint #11602316 — 2016 FORD F-150

The contact owns a 2016 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle stalled, and the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was able to be restarted and was taken to an independent mechanic where the spark plugs were replaced; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was diagnosed, and the failure was related to a misfire in the engine. The contact related the failure with the Technical Service Bulletin: 192384 (EcoBoost - Oil Consumption, Rough Idle, Misfire with Or Without Blue Exhaust Smoke); however, the vehicle was not included. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 145,000.
