NHTSA Complaint #11598044 — 2023 FISKER OCEAN

The contact owns a 2023 Fisker Ocean. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the vehicle was started, and the "Low Battery Power" message was displayed. The contact attempted to exit the vehicle but was unable to unlock the door with the key fob or manually. The contact's husband was able to open the driver's side door from outside the vehicle. A day later the vehicle was able to restart and taken to the residence. Additionally, the contact stated that on three separate occasions while driving at various speeds, the vehicle lost power and independently shifted to park(P). The vehicle was taken to the residence. The contact stated that on one of the occasions, the vehicle had stalled. The vehicle was restarted and taken to the residence. The vehicle was diagnosed by the dealer's mobile technician, and it was determined that a software program needed to be updated. The vehicle was repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 2,000. The VIN was not provided.
