Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated while driving 55 MPH, the vehicle lost steering functionality. The vehicle was swerving from left to right. The driver was able to stop the vehicle. After turning off and restarting the vehicle, the vehicle regained normal functionality. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, who informed the contact that the vehicle needed to be diagnosed. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 142,684.
