Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2013 Ford Focus. The contact stated that while his daughter was driving 70 MPH, the engine began revving intermittently. The contact stated that his daughter observed the “Service Transmission” message displayed. The vehicle was taken to the residence. The contact stated that while parked at the residence, he attempted to shift into reverse(R), the engine began revving intermittently, but the vehicle failed to reverse as intended. The vehicle was then towed to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the actuator and clutch pack needed to be replaced. The vehicle was partially repaired. The failure mileage was 126,023.
