Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2021 Ford F-150. The contact received notification NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V896000 (Power Train). The contact stated that on several occasions while driving at various speeds, the brake pedal was depressed, and the brake wear indicator started chirping. The vehicle was taken to the residence where the rear driver’s side wheel was removed, and the rear axle bolt fell to the ground. The vehicle was taken to a dealer to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the tires were rubbing and that unknown parts needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 34,000.
