NHTSA Complaint #11590414 — 2020 FORD ESCAPE

The contact owns a 2020 Ford Escape. The contact stated while the vehicle was parked, the driver’s side front door failed to close properly. Additionally, when the contact opened the door, there was an abnormally loud screeching sound coming from the door and the driver’s side front window would not function properly. The dealer was contacted; however, the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 98,000. The VIN was not included.
