Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2015 Jeep Cherokee. The contact stated while driving at approximately 50 MPH, the message "Unable to Use 4x4 At This Time” was displayed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the rear end needed to be replaced because it was a sealed unit. The dealer stated that the parts were not yet available and were currently on backorder for a year. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.
