Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2015 Hyundai Sonata. The contact stated that while decelerating and approaching a stop light, the vehicle suddenly experienced a loss of motive power and stalled. The vehicle could not be restarted and was later towed to the local dealer who diagnosed that the engine had seized and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 104,000.
