Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2013 Ford Focus. The contact stated that after shifting from first to second gear, the vehicle was shuddering and vibrating and failed to shift smoothly into third gear. Additionally, the vehicle failed to respond after being shifted into reverse. The failure was intermittent, and the check engine warning light would illuminate occasionally. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The local dealer was not notified of the failure. The manufacturer was informed of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was 90,000.
