NHTSA Complaint #11566444 — 2013 HYUNDAI VELOSTER

I am concerned with the notice of a recall which I received June 2023 concerning a possible electrical fault in the ABS module which could cause a fire in the engine compartment. There is NO fix available . I called my local Hyundai garage and the Hyundai corp office and they both told me the same thing and that is they do not have a fix and do not know when one will be available' I find this unacceptable and stalling by the Hyundai Company I am told that I should park the car away from the house as it might catch fire wether the car is running or not. After 8 months i can only suppose the Hyundai Company is ignoring the problem because it will cost them money I would be most grateful if you could light a fire under Hyundai, so to speak, so that they will solve this problem [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
