NHTSA Complaint #11566102 — 2014 FORD FUSION

The contact owns a 2014 Ford Fusion. The contact stated while pulling out of a parking space and driving, the vehicle jerked and stalled. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact was able to pull to the side of the road. The contact turned off and restarted the vehicle, and the vehicle responded as needed. The contact stated that the failure recurred while driving on another occasion. The vehicle was taken to the dealer however, the failure could not be duplicated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 88,000.
