Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle would hesitate upon the depression of the accelerator pedal. The contact also stated that the vehicle stalled with an unknown warning light illuminated. The vehicle had been taken to a dealer and an independent mechanic where several repairs were performed; however, the failure persisted. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. Upon investigation, the contact discovered NHTSA Campaign Number: 14V634000 (Electrical System) which she linked to the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 138,000.
