The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who informed the contact that the vehicle had failed inspection. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline. The contact stated the failure was related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V515000 (Fuel System, Gasoline). The approximate failure mileage was 42,000.
