Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2015 Jeep Cherokee. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle hesitated upon depression of the accelerator pedal with the check engine warning light illuminated. In addition, the vehicle would intermittently fail to start up after multiple attempts. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where the contact was informed that the failure was likely related to the transmission. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000.
