Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2019 Honda Pilot. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V431000 (Back Over Prevention). The contact stated that after shifting into reverse(R) the screen image was pixelated blocking the rear-view image. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where the vehicle was diagnosed, and it was determined that the coaxial cables needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired but the failure persisted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 29,000.
