NHTSA Complaint #11625834 — 2019 HONDA PILOT

The contact owns a 2019 Honda Pilot. The contact stated that after shifting to reverse, the back over prevention camera screen displayed multi-colored pixels, but no image of the rear of the vehicle was displayed. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who diagnosed that the rear camera display unit was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was not yet notified of the failure. The contact was informed that the VIN was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V431000 (BACK OVER PREVENTION). The contact stated that the vehicle had experienced the failure listed in the recall. The failure mileage was 65,000.
