NHTSA Complaint #11546323 — 2019 HONDA PILOT

The contact owns a 2019 Honda Pilot. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V431000 (Back Over Prevention). The contact stated that the part to do the recall repair was available however, after contacting multiple dealers, the contact was informed that only one vehicle per day would be serviced for the recall and the next available appointment was in July of 2024. The contact stated that the manufacturer and dealer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not yet made aware of the issue. The contact that while reversing, the backup camera screen was blank and created a visibility hazard for the driver. The failure mileage was 51,000. Parts distribution disconnect.
