NHTSA Complaint #11545513 — 2015 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500

A warning about my power steering popped up. My power steering is completely out. I had to drive it to the dealership to be worked on. The dealership has it in the shop. It's been there for two months, they cannot find the part. GMC/Chevy offered some money to help cover me since I cannot drive it, but that's when Gerald Jones GMC Aiken, SC deemed it operable. I told Chevy/GMC I would ask what the NHTSA said about that. I asked GMC the definition of operable. I don't have a definition yet. My belief is that my truck is not operable due to a safety issue (power steering) being out. Thank you for always protecting the consumer and protecting us.
