NHTSA Complaint #11545510 — 2014 HONDA ACCORD

I was making a left turn and my steering wheel locked up. I couldn't return the wheel right to straighten out. The car kept going left. I had to put my car in reverse and after some time the steering wheel unlocked while in reverse. I was on a busy street and almost caused an accident. I was on the right lane and it forced me into the left lane. The driver I cut off was able to brake just in time without hitting my car. No lights on dashboard. Not able to reproduce by dealership. Dealership scanned code 85-01 VSA system malfunction and is charging $3k to replace the VSA modulator part #04571-T2F-L11. No other symptoms prior.
