NHTSA Complaint #11544499 — 2019 FORD F-150

The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-150. The contact stated while reserving, the rearview camera failed to display an image. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed a failure with the back over prevention camera module. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V252000 (Back Over Prevention) however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but was unable to assist with the repair. The failure mileage was 36,000.
