The contact owns a 2018 Ram 2500. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the brake warning light illuminated, and the "Service ABS" message was displayed. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The vehicle was diagnosed with ABS failure, and the contact was informed that the ABS module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that parts would not be available until March 2024. The failure mileage was approximately 45,000.
