Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2021 Volkswagen ID.4. The contact stated that while his wife was opening the driver's side rear door, she was shocked by an electrical discharge. The contact stated that his wife's hand hurt for several days, however she was not burned by the discharge. The contact had not taken the vehicle to a local dealer or independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 22,000.
