The contact stated that the "door open" light was illuminated. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V502000 (Latches/Locks/Linkages) however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the door pawl spring tab needed to be replaced; however, the part was unavailable. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.
