NHTSA Complaint #11542650 — 2016 FORD F-350

The contact owns a 2016 Ford F-350. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V337000 (Air Bags), and the vehicle was taken to the dealer for the recall repair; however, the dealer later called the contact back and advised him to pick up the vehicle because they had received the wrong part and was unable to complete the recall repair. The contact stated that he had contacted the dealer several times, and the dealer informed him that the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and informed the contact that the dealer had already marked the recall as complete. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool showed no open recall.
