The contact owns a 2018 Jeep Renegade. The contact stated while driving 50 MPH, the vehicle lost automotive power. The vehicle was unable to properly accelerate; however, the contact was able to pull over to side of the roadway. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic. The vehicle was diagnosed, and the mechanic determined that the fuel pump was inoperable. The vehicle was not repaired.
