Consumer Description

Our vehicle was making very loud noises and the cooling fan kept running. We took the car to the Ford Dealership as it has some recalls that needed to be fixed and we needed some general maintenance performed. The dealer let us know that the water pump had a crack and needed to be repaired immediately. I looked online and it appears that this is a known issues with Ford vehicles. This was a very costly repair because they had to take out the engine to be able to reach the water pump. We were advised that if this was not repaired the leak could reach the engine and cause total failure.
