The contact owns a 2009 Honda CR-V. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V228000 (Structure) however, the repair was attempted, but the vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was declared undrivable by the dealer. The contact stated that the manufacturer had been contacted by the dealer and the manufacturer stated the vehicle was drivable. The dealer recommended that the contact not drive the vehicle and the vehicle was left at the dealer. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was approximately 222,000.
