Consumer Description

CMBS system in Honda CRV 2017 Driving 25-30 mph on a clear day (sunny, dry pavement) when the brakes engaged without warning (beeping sounded, but I didn't see the "BRAKING" sign in orange blink) car stopped hard, I jerked forward in the seat. I was able to drive the car back home (less than a mile away). There were no cars in front of me and fortunately none in the back of me so this didn't cause an accident. I'm afraid to drive the car in case the brakes engage suddenly and causes a rear end accident. I called my local Honda dealership and made first appt available 7/11/2023. This follows 2 incidents where all warning lights flashed (5/8/2023) and (6/17/2023) (including brake system light) the codes pulled were about cylinder misfire at a Honda dealer (on 6/17/2023 - CMA Valley Honda)
