Consumer Description

In 2016, I purchased a new Ford Edge. In June 2023, I'm informed by Ford Certified Personnel that the engine has a "Coolant Inclusion" issue requiring replacement with a new engine. This problem caused by a design flaw in the engine that Ford was aware of in 2009 and continued to install without repair or recall. Research information shows it can cause overheating and possible vehicle fire. My service records can be verified with Brinson Ford, Athens TX. [XXX], Service Advisor.
