Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2014 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle inadvertently shut off after the ignition switch was slightly touched. The contact stated that the "Transmission Not in Park" message was illuminated on the instrument panel. The dealer and the manufacturer were notified of the failure and informed the contact that the vehicle was not under recall for the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 147,829.
